Yesterday, the blood and marrow donation campaign organized by the Colegio Santa María Micaela Adoratrices de Cartagena, with the support of Grupo CAESA Mapfre, was carried out with great success. The day was an example of solidarity and commitment on the part of the community, reaching extraordinary participation figures, in total of 326 donors, of which 84 joined for the first time, achieving 246 blood donations and 36 marrow donations.
CAESA Mapfre Group was present throughout the day, reinforcing its commitment to the health and well-being of society. As a token of gratitude to the donors, the donor bag was delivered, which included a ticket for the match between Odilo CB and Guipúzcoa Basket, which will take place on March 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Palacio de los Deportes in Cartagena.
The high participation and positive impact of this initiative reinforce the importance of continuing to promote donation as an act of generosity and social responsibility.
